In 1988 after active work from the Governors, the school was re-modelled. As a result of this work the School presently has a recetpion area, hall, three teaching areas, offices, kitchen, staffroom and library. The administration area is adjacent to the library and the school administrator is usually available there on every morning. Our school bursar is in the office on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
Re-modelling has also provided the School with a ceramics room. The school does however suffer from a lack of playground space, but we have the use of the Village Hall for PE and the use of the village football field and netball court.
The recently created ICT suite, with internet facility, in the school hall has served to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
Space has always been at a premium as we occupy a compact site.

The school therefore retains its Victorian frontage, but inside is well equipped for a more modern approach to education, especially through the use of ICT to deliver the curriculum.
The school is proud of the reputation it holds within the wider community and the fact that it draws pupils from a wider area than its immediate catchment. We attach great importance to the caring family atmosphere which we encourage and maintain.
