Birthday Greetings!

Happy Birthday to Isaac Williams who was 10 years old last Sunday, Will Hearn who was 11 years old on Tuesday and Freya Cooper who will be 10 years old tomorrow.

Dear Parents/Carers

Thank you to everyone who bought pumpkin soup from the Dolphins last Friday.  We raised £18.00.  We gave £8.00 to the Poppy Appeal and will spend the remaining £10.00 on more cooking ingredients and equipment.

If any of you have any comments regarding the proposed federation of Dolton and The Clinton Primary Schools, please write to Mrs Alison Atton, Dolton Chair of Governors, c/o the school.  The consultation period ends on 20th November 2009 at 3.30pm.

Morrisons ‘Lets Grow’ vouchers - This offer has now ended.  If you have any vouchers at home, please can you bring them into school as soon as possible as we need to place an order before the end of this month.  Thank you!

Scholastic Books - Your new Scholastic Book Club Magazine is now out.  Please take a look at the new catalogue and get a head start on the Christmas shopping!!  There are some fantastic bargains with books costing as little as £1.99!  There is no obligation to buy but your school receives 20% commission on each and every book ordered, which in turn puts more books on your school library’s shelves.  You can now order at http://clubs-school.scholastic.co.uk/the-clinton-dolton with the books being sent directly to you or through the school order and your books will be delivered to school for FREE and handed out in class.  If you want to make alternative delivery arrangements please contact me direct on 01805 804 405.  Hand your completed order form into the school office along with your payment by Friday 20th November and I will do the rest (or simply use the online ordering service if you prefer).  Thank you, Sue Friend.

HEADLICE

We have some very unwelcome visitors back - headlice.  It would be very much appreciated, if all parents could have a close inspection of ALL family members as we are keen to nip this outbreak before it spreads.  If you find headlice in one member of the family, ALL family members need to be treated even if they do not have any visible lice.
